The last month of my life has fallen apart. Let's take some stock, shall we?

-I had to get a second job
-I have had bronchitis and ill for almost a week
-My husband and I are separating
-Today I told him I was moving out
-I made my mom cry when I told her, then she said she might have done the same if she had any place to go, and Bowie and I were welcome to stay at my parents until I find a place.

Sigh.

New post!

Only because I am home sick. But I have to go back to work for an orientation so keep your fingers crossed that I don't throw up on any students.

Big things:

1) I got a second job at an organic grocery store in town. The only one, in fact. Not a whole lot of hours but a whole different skill set. I find this exciting, because I am a geek.

2) First derby bout is October 23rd and I am crazy out of shape. The closet smoking (ahem) and lounging in the sunshine all summer have not done me well in regards to endurance. Time to step it up.

One of my skates is in parts. I seriously messed up a part, which needs replacing, and the whole thing needed to be dismantled to pop it out. Now I have a sad skate in my car.

Interesting conversation that shows you how I think, "So, are you going to put B (my 2.5 year old son) in pre-kindergarten?" Me, "There's a pre-kindergarten?"

Resurrection

This blog is new, but my presence is not. I needed a change. Something new with a different perspective.

Unfortunately, my camera died a water-y death. Pictures might be a while. I hope to be a bit more regular with posting and a lot more optimistic in general. That can happen, right?
